Not...the reaction I expected. Good gods, I shall never rid myself of certain nicknames?
Boners and hardwood and omnipotent johnsons bother me not, rather one might hope for an increase of those around, and Óðinn was well-kenned for his many a frolic with beauteous female jötnar, but this god-genderbending...sheer sasquatchery.
I'm dragging the Metal thread here as I must regain my sanity.

Though this blurring of lines betwixt fora might spell the doom of us all!

...or alternatively (and right on the "Sacrilege" topic) there's this:-
Isn't this the kinda time that Cail announces he's having one of his weird boners?

Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"
Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them

I may be alone in this, but I'm never really very good with the sex change thing. Don't get me wrong, if that's what floats someones boat then thats fine by me - the problem I find is that all the hormones and operations in the world never [to me] make the person actually look like a member of the sex they are trying to convert to. The women just finish up looking like - well - masculinised women in mens clothes and the men like men in badly fitted wigs with tits stuck on their chests. I see no reason why Thor would be any different.
The truth is a Lion and does not need protection. Once free it will look after itself.

I wouldn't worry about it, in any event. Just like with "omgz! Superman is ded!" and "omgz! Bane broke Batman's back!" this will be "omgz! Thor is a woman!" for about 6 months, maybe a year, before something happens and he goes back to being himself again.
The possibility of the power of Thor passing to a female always existed in his comic book representation by Marvel. Anyone who was "worthy" (a definition which, according to the old pencil-and-paper Marvel RPG that TSR put out in the late 80s meant "any character who attained a karma stat over 1,000....which was difficult to do but possible) could pick up the hammer and receive the power. Thor has already been an alien--good old Beta Ray Bill.

The Tank is gone and now so am I.
