Disco Nostalgia

Post by TheFallen »

Now fortunately I was just too young to be forever corrupted by the dominance of disco in the mid-70s, but I am aware that there are those here on the Watch who probably had the time of their lives cutting shapes, busting moves and generally strutting their stuff to a funky disco beat back in the day. For you boogiophiles, Saturday Night Fever no doubt remains the greatest movie you've ever seen.

So, because I am above all a big-hearted, charitable and inclusive sort of guy, I thought I'd draw your attention to a recently discovered BeeGees single from the height of disco-mania. I commend it to you all whole-heartedly.

...and, just in case any further encouragement should be needed to get you scurrying over to YouTube, here's a still from the slickly produced above-linked video to whet your collective appetites for funk.

Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"

Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them
