I'm really not sure what discussion forum this topic should be in... So I might as well put it in here... So I was wondering...

Do you think there is any truth to the Witchcraft religion?

What do you think? U never say on any of these topics u create...There is no "Witchcraft" religion per say...There is a Wiccan religion. And it aslo depends one what type of witchcraft one is practicing. I have no prob with white, healing, natural and Goddess worshiping...I suppose there is a little bit of truth in everything...

IS witchcraft a religion? I never considered it a religion. It might be part of a religion, but I never considered it a religion all by itself.

I'm not even sure if there's any truth to the statement that there even is a Witchcraft religion. If there is, though; there's bound to be truths sprinkled in to make the lies more convincing.

You know, it is usually expected that when you open a new topic you at least give your opinion on the topic, and even explain your opinion, but what I'm seeing more and more in your topics is a question and nothing else.... The point of the topic is to share your opinion, but now you're just reading everyone elses opinion and not giving your own....

The point of these boards is not who can make the most topics....

I know that! I'll give my opinions when I don't have a either limited amount of time on the computer and three pieces of coursework to do.

No... I believe that certain types of magic exists... not the type where you can turn people into frogs... That's just stupid. And only people who know nothing about magic think about it that way. But I believe in the essence of magic.

I believe it exists, but I don't place any faith in it, nor do I look for it to help my life in any way. I have...another source for that.

That's not the only thing with witchcraft in... I have seven books on Witchcraft... and there are many different types of practice’s for many faiths.

A Wiccan might be a witch, but a witch is not necessarily a Wiccan.
Witchcraft and Paganism have been around for thousands of years, whereas Wicca is a new-comer to the family of Witchcraft/Paganism--less than a hundred years I think. I'm not sure, but Wicca might be the religious answer for witches seeking something more formally recognizable (acceptable perhaps) by people who think of green ladies with long noses as the typical witch.
