Do you always use the same avatar?

Yes. I like the one I have and there's no reason to change it

I'mma just note that Cord Hurn here was plugging away at an admirable goal and we just didn't notice.

I am gobsmacked!

He delivered 1000 "goodposts."

Alright... now, on the topic of avatars...
...I definitely remember an avatar I'd thought of making, which in retrospect I figured out I would feel really silly if I used it.

Then again, there's also like 2 or 3 that I imagined but never made / never sought to get someone to make.
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

I use the same avatar in here as all my places where an avater is used.

As for signatures, I have used a different one in most of my 30 or so posts so far. :)

Aye. I notice that whenever I quote you. Most of us set up a permanent -ish signature in our profile which is automatically added to a post, but doesn't show up and need to be edited out (if chosen to do so) when being quoted.

Ah! Yes, I remember now when using this type of forum for Jamiroquai. I found the space on my profile. It will save some time I guess.
