HAH. Same here.

That's the NFL. Sometimes mid level, struggling quarterback can torch you.
Nod to Case Keenum for kicking the Bucs ass...again...

I did poorly last week so its time to redeem myself

First, Im gonna go wayyyyyyyyy out on a limb and give Chicago some love and pick them over GB. I picked a few differently than aTOMiC, so we will see how this impacts our win/loss ratio

I watched the Cards and Cowboys play last night. I thought the Cards Defense had a good game plan going in but somewhere along the way they botched the whole thing. They were selling out to stop the run early and daring Dak to beat them through the air. That was working pretty well, and then Dak made a couple of really good throws and they started defending the rest of the field better. That opened up holes for Elliot to kill them in the running game. It was a mistake to get away from stopping the run.

The Cardinals offense which had held the Dallas D off early, seemed to wilt about halfway through the second quarter and Dallas was getting to Carson with a 3 man rush. It was hard to watch Carson continue to get hurried, rushed and sacked with only a 3 man rush. That really opens the D up to be able to cover the short routes and drop offs.

Falcons blew a winnable game at home. The bye could not come at a better time. Julio out with a hip flexor injury, Sanu out with a hamstring, Jack Crawford may be out for the year, Ryan Shraeder Cocussion protocol, Ricardo Allen (saftey) concussion protocal, Trevon Ward out with a neck injury, Vic Beasely out with a hamstring, Courtney Upshaw out with an ankle iinjury

I tip my hat to the Bills who came in and played a very good game. Their kicker is money!!! Injuries are never an excuse in the NFL. Next man up. The one call was blatently bad but the Falcons had plenty of opportunity to put this game away. 2nd and 1 in the redzone, 3rd and 1 in the redzone, 4th and 1 in the redzone with 40 seconds left. Falcons didnt execute and it cost them the game. Falcons coaches, read my lips, RUN THE D*** BALL!!!!

Well its not getting any better for me. 10 wrong...well

JAX defense is no joke
Giants have no one to throw to
Chiefs are cranking right now. Maybe at the wrong time.
Panthers need a couple of those games for me to believe they are back

Falcons need to step up their game. Crucial mistakes are killing their offense. However Ryan Shraeder is back (OL) Ricardo Allen is back (Safety), and Julio is back and I think Vic Beasley is back. If they stay healthy through the Miami game, then they get back Sanu and Courtney Upsshaw for the NE game in Foxboro for week 7. All are practicing right now but I expect Sanu and Upshaw to be out for Miami.

Week 6 Here we go.

Anothetr week of being more than half wrong LOL

Falcons have to clean up their penalties. Two games back to back where we get a turnover would have sealed the game, but no. Instead it gets called back due to a unnecessary penalty. The final play of the game, the TE needs to step into the ball. That ball was thrown perfectly into a very tiny window and he allowed them to strip it out as it lands. He grabs that with his hands instead of his breadbasket, and its a catch all day.
Next week in NE.... lets see if we can get out to a strong lead and then not score in the second half, allowing them to come back and win. Its becoming a habit with this team.

Hey I'm 100% right (for two games)

Yeah, what happened with the Falcons is at least as bad as what happened with the Bucs. I guess I should be proud that they almost came back from a 31-0 deficit but they let Adrian Peterson run all over them. This week Tyrod Taylor is going to run all over them.

Below are my Week 7 picks

If the Falcons can stop making all the crappy penalties, they win this game. BUT..... the Pats normally get the benefit of the doubt at home on penalties. So I expect to see some jaw dropping penalties against Atlanta while NE gets a free pass. NE fans hate it when I point this out, but there is absolutely a bias especially at home. But Atlanta comes into this game with all their players back. NE is 33 in the league in defense. So maybe, just maybe, Atlanta pulls this one out. Even better, I bet all the football pros pick NE to win, so that always works in Atlanta's favor. They seem to play best as the underdog.

I pick Chicago to beat Carolina as my upset pick this week.

Good picking for a change. Only 4 wrong this week, pretty sure Philly pulls this next game out.

Falcons look horrible. Either they turn it around or we could be staring down a 7 and 9 year. They are out of sync on Offense, Defense and Special teams. At this point in the season they should be looking better, but each game, to me, looks like a step backwards. Maybe there is a SB hangover. Having an OC chance certainly doesnt help but the OC isnt causing Ryan to overthrow receivers. The OC isnt calling a 'go for it' on 4th and 6 on the 45 in the 2nd quarter.

Carolina looked just as bad or worse. Chicago put up 12 points of defense and 5 on Offense.

TB looked bad but then all of a sudden went on a run for it. Too little too late.

Saints - Guess who is number one in the NFC South? Yep you guessed it. Never would have thought that, the way they started the year.

Never saw that blowout coming on Thursday night football. Miami was never really in it. Flacco got his bell rang in that game with the bad hit. The guy who hit him will get a large fine. At the end of the day it only gave Baltimore more energy to take Miami out.
