Just want to draw attention to this magical little book that I picked up by serendipitous discovery in a box of books outside someone's cottage on a country ramble. Placing half a dollar as requested in the tin, I found myself in the enchanted world of the circus that only opens it's doors between sunset and sunrise, appears and disapears as if by magic at it's never preannounced venues and changes the lives of all who enter through its turnstiles. Entirely presented in black and white, the circus nevertheless exhibits colour of every facet and shade in each of it's myriad tents - every one more fantastical and enchanting than the last.
Search out this book if you are ready to be enchanted!

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
The truth is a Lion and does not need protection. Once free it will look after itself.
....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....
'Have we not served you well'
'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'
We are the Bloodguard
