I'm pretty new to this myself, I haven't actually done a game that works this way before.

Yeah, I'm very inexperienced with this style of game, too. Very different from Pantheon type.

I'll try to post in the morning. It's been a busy couple of days, and I can't on my cell. It logged me off, and I don't seem to be doing a good job of guessing the password. I hope I'm logged in on the computer downstairs. I'll find out when I wake up.

[You all come from a world that doesn't really truck with gods, given its history with the original God, who is dead. The peoples who came to the Heartland and founded cities there were unusual, seen as fanatics by the outside world.]
Paula's comment was more superstitious than anything. Kind of like throwing salt over your shoulder for good luck or avoiding black cats, etc. Having been well-traveled through these cities as an actress, Paula would be somewhat familiar with being a stranger in a strange town and being respectful of local customs.

But, is there anything wrong with seeking blessings from Jove?

Nothing wrong with it at all. You may be aware of some of these kinds of things even if shrines, temples, and general religious belief are pretty rare to encounter.

I'm assuming Caam played Jove in the previous incarnation of this game? :D

So, I'm not totally sure whether the players can describe what they see at the casino or whether the games master needs to set the scene? Since Murrin is probably asleep right now, I guess I'll just put something down and I can always retract it... once I think of something

Yep, that was all my creation. I love that Murrin is using it. But, I need to remember that Paula doesn't know much about it. lol

Heheh, that is a quote from the movie this still is taken from. Her husband gives her a necklace and says, "It's just the color of your eyes. You're an awfully nice color scheme, darling."

Apart from the Covid saga on channel 19:) there's very little going on here on KW.

I thought you were Paula Ridgeway!
