I have not read the books though I have heard LuciMay talk highly of them.

But I’ve just finished the tv series of The Exoanse and it was absolutely awesome! Loved it!

Has anyone else seen it?

Well acted, interesting characters ~ intriguing plot lines ~ really fun.

We kind of binged it over a number of weeks doing a few eps a night. Gonna miss it now it’s done tho ~ but I did read they may run a spin off. Two possibilities were given and I far prefer to explore the proto-molecule than one individual character ~ especially given what we learn about it in season 6. There are soooo many places to go with it ~ THAT has definitely fascinating possibilities.

Interesting books, fun to read, at times they felt like torture porn (there's one in particular where I remember thinking that they should just let the poor guy take a nap).

And, of course, the ending. I thought it was hilarious that so much of the last book focused on whats-her-name starting to feel compassion for people around her, and it freaked her out. Which ties into how they end the series, saying that humans shouldn't be connected or anything. Kind of the libertarian's answer to Childhood's End.

Well the TV series only covers the first six books as I recall, so there are four more books' worth for you to enjoy
