2022 NFL Whipping Post
6 games into the season and the Bears are who we thought they were . The Chicago Bears are 2-4, and are excruciating to watch. Justin Fields, the latest QB savior is in his second year. At this time he’s more a threat for running the ball than passing. He has to learn to be more confident in the passing game before he takes a hit that slows down his running if he is going to be successful. Their defense is a little down but they drafted two good defensive backs who are starting to look good.
So how is your team doing?

Buccaneers "we need to run the ball" even if it costs us winning games.
1st and 10 run up the middle. That'll show 'em! Who cares if we leave Mike Evans standing around wondering why he isn't getting targeted more than a few times a game. At least we're shoring up our rushing stats. Bravo. 3 and 3 is right where we want to be. Not showing off and not falling too far behind.
The playoffs are for no risk it no biscuit Bruce Arians types. We think 2.5 yards a carry is like a sports orgasm. Love it!

Perhaps the offensive philosophy Tom references is a contributing factor to the acting-out behaviors seen in that QB of late?

I seem to have introduced some ambiguity. When I referenced Tom in my prior post, I was using an informal name for aTOMiC...but I neglected to recognize that this might be confused with the first name of the Bucs' QB.
Long story short, I never questioned our fellow Watcher's marriage (about which I know nothing)...and the personal lives of celebrities is of no interest to me. I live in a metaphorical glass house; I enjoy the sunlight and certainly cast no stones.
