So, is this thing being released soon?

Book Three of The Great God's War trilogy, which may or may not ever be published.

Right?

I'm pretty sure I preordered it months ago.

I think.

Awesome! Although I'm not sure I remember what happened in the last two books. I would re-read them, but that would probably take me a couple of years, ha.

My copy just arrived early, on 14 November at 18:08 Pacific. Thank you, Amazon delivery driver!

It's a big book. I am kid-on-Christmas-morning excited. Verklempt, even...

Got mine today. At 686 pages it has more pages than any other hard back book published by Donaldson so far (excluding the omnibus editions). But it's not the thickest. My copies of The Mirror of Her Dreams and A Man Rides Through are thicker - they use thicker paper (Ballantine Books hardback).

So now I can finally start reading Seventh Decimate! I've been waiting until I had all the books in the series.

I’m half way through my re-read of The War Within, and will then look forward to the final installment!

Turned the last page a few minutes ago, then sat for a while and took it all in. SRD has outdone himself again.

Ordered my copy yesterday. Finished "The War Within" last night as I couldn't remember the back story. Perhaps I will still be able to remember the first two books when "The Killing God" arrives. :?

Checked last Monday at my local Barnes & Noble bookstore. They didn't have copies of it on hand, but a helpful cashier quickly talked me into ordering a copy through their online service. Hope I get that phone call soon telling me it has arrived at the store.

Picked up my copy of The Killing God at the bookstore today! It's a handsomely hefty hardback book, for sure! Feels good to have it after a nearly two-year wait for the conclusion of this rather unique-feeling story!
