I think that one was called April Fools! It's not really him. Here's another book about Linden.

I gotta say, the new KW is running quite smoothly. Props to all involved.

Ah yes, the Blue Hack Team. Good times. I remember fondly baiting the hacker/s that they were 'Kurd lovers.' The Terry Brooks Hack Team was also exceptionally well done. Also, Av's Discordian-themed April Fools was also pretty good.

One month, Jay. You better be stepping it up.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Why thank you [Syl], I was very proud of that one. (I thought the NSA watch list one was pretty good too personally. :D )

Also, no need for sarcasm. :P

Anyway, just to update everybody, we are back on track. Jay should be updating the NS records shortly, then Vain will be able to schedule the down-time to duplicate the latest version of the DB, and activate the new and improved forum.

(Also, don't freak out, but the avatars will be on the right hand side to begin, but we'll fix that. ;) )

See y'all soon.

lol 😂

We have a doggie door that the dogs and cats used ~ we flipped it to the other side cuz they are hard on the door . for weeks the cats and the dogs sat staring discombobulated… at where it used to be ~ despite it being a mere few inches to the right!! 🤦♀😂

It is probably too late to do anything about it; the update either will or will not address it...but over the years, I've bestowed many "GoodPost" likes by virtue of my trackpad traversing that button and registering an unintended click. No way to undo it...

Hopefully if the new platform has such a recognition feature, it will either not have a hair-trigger response or be no-fault reversible.

Just to be open, all of these Watch updates are completely out of my control and knowledge, ha. At this point, the only things I seem to have any control over at the Watch are:
1) I own the domain kevinswatch.com
2) I'm still an administrator of these forums, for some reason...
3) I'm proudly still the creator of THOOLAH. THOOLAH!
4) I deleted the **** out of the Tank :)

You have something in common with this update Jay: it is moving at a similar pace as your book reading pace. :D

Ha! Yes I am still a slow reader. Although I am reading the Great God War at a bit faster pace than I did the Last Chronicles. Probably because it's more interesting and better written, ha.

:LOLS:

Right, it's possible that Vain may be able to do the update this weekend, but he does not guarantee it. :D If the site is mysteriously down over the weekend, that'll be the reason why. If not, it'll be some time not too long after that.

(As for me, I'm still unpacking all my stuff in the new house, but I'm nearly fit to rejoin normal society.)
