Crepuscular has an excellent sound.

Cthonic was the one I needed to look up.

Interesting background if I may just say.

There was once a very well known UK radio and TV broadcaster, a disk jockey of sorts, who I believe started his career on Radio Caroline, but moved on to the BBC pretty early on in his career.

His name was Tony Blackburn and he had a very 'wholesome ' reputation for a DJ, unlike many of his colleagues. He was regarded as being the epitome of 'un-hip', boring perhaps even, but respected and much followed nevertheless.

He began a habit on his radio shows of ending words with the suffix '-tastic'.... spintastic, shoptastic, dancetastic- that sort of thing...and people started copying him just for the fun of it. (My favorite example was the tag line I spotted on the front of a copy of Fiesta (was it? Some cheap soft core porno mag anyway. ) "Check out the amazing girls inside! They're fanny-bloody-tastic!")

Anyway, I can only assume that this game travelled like a meme across the pond - probably to result in the type of conjoining such as 'craptastic' that you refer to here, without any actual knowledge of the history or reason for doing it travelling with it.

Or maybe I'm wrong and Blackburn nicked it from another, perhaps US, source?
The truth is a Lion and does not need protection. Once free it will look after itself.

....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....

'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'

No niggard are you, Wayfriend, to give to the Watch your wise literary skills.

I'm two away from the KW 20 year club.

For the past 20+ years I've been working in IT at a lot of companies.
In that time, I've probably used over a hundred personal desktops and laptops and on each and every one of them Kevinswatch.com has been the first bookmark I've added to the toolbar.

And one of my many (but not too many) regrets in life is having never been to an Elohimfest to meet all you wonderful people.
Ha! I made this blasted message board when I was a lonely ass college student. And I have never been to an Elohimfest myself!
