What would make "Star Wars" a better forum?

Talk about both the movies and the books.

So if I create a whole bunch of Buffy threads in the tv forum, they may eventually get their own special home? ;)

Hello! I`m new here but didn`t understand. Usually, on each forum the first thing you see is the welcome page where you can introduce yourself. At this one the first thing I saw here was the leaving message and the complaint that anybody posts here. so, I thought that this forum will be closed. Did I understand you correctly?

Welcome to the Watch, SantaKlavis.

We encourage everyone to introduce themselves, and collect hellos, in The Summonsing [sub]forum.

Kevin's Watch is a forum for Stephen Donaldson fans. We have some subforums for Star Wars, Star Trek, Tolkien, Stephen King, and some other things. But they exist to collect discussions by Donaldson fans on these topics, rather than as premiere forums for these things. In other words, few people use Kevin's Watch just to discuss Star Trek. Activity rises and falls as circumstance would have it.

Well I guess I'm the mod of this forum after all.

Honestly I forgot all about it for years and have just returned to the Watch on a regular basis. I will attempt to do a good job while my mod status lasts.

Should anyone have any suggestions or complaints please feel free to PM me or post in this thread.

Enjoy.

Have Star Wars and Star Trek in their own threads and then not directed by Mod to the Andelain TV shows to post in Star Trek Picard and probably Star Wars The Mandalorian as well.

The most confusing fan site I have used for sure. Ho hum! 8O

Good suggestions πŸ‘Œ I like the idea of separating Star Wars and Star Trek .. as they are each their own universes

If I am being honest I don't see a pressing need to separate the forum however if there is enough interest in doing so I have no objection. Back in the day when we were clamoring for some kind of special forum for these franchises we expected that they would be separate but combining the two hasn't created many difficulties that I am aware of.

Yeah, I'm fine to keep them together. Apart from anything else, moving all the posts about one or the other into its own forum will be a pain. :D

And we did all that work to reduce the clutter on the Watch...step in the opposite direction. :D
