Friends...

Post by FizbansTalking_Hat »

Am I the only person that just doesn't care that this show is ending, I found the humor to be very bland and dull the past couple of seasons. I used to be a fan but now its all very organized and you know what is goign to happen in eahc and eveyr episode, no surprises, no twists, it's just become so predictable.

Joey says somethign stupid, Monica is neurotic, Phoebe is weird, Chandler is sensitive nad uses comedy to diffuse tense situations, and Rachel and Ross sleep together off and on in between Rachel whoring out for other people.......... I mean, its just dull to me, and I'm glad its over, the only problem now is that its syndicated on about 5 stations, and at any given night I can turn a channel on and Friends is being replayed, ah well, for those that love the show I guess htis is a sad time, but not for me. Cheers.

I watch Friends frequently but I don't consider myself a die-hard fan. I suppose in the long run I will miss new episodes of the show but I'm fine with it finally coming to an end. The loss of Futurama was a fairly traumatic experience for me. The only other program I will be sad to see end is The Simpsons.

I won't miss Friends, but I don't think it went on too much too long; there were still a few new directions for the characters to go; unlike Seinfeld, Friends grew up somewhat.

I started to lose interest in Friends after the second season, at which point it seemed to be going a bit stale. There was a brief resurgence at the start of the fourth season, but after that it really went to the dogs (IMHO, of course). I've seen a few episodes recently, and all I can say in their favour is that Jennifer Aniston looks better with age.
