She did not know about my green text, which is something I have done for 20 years. She did that on her own.

Not sure who that avatar is--she watches a lot of anime with which I am unfamiliar.
The Tank is gone and now so am I.

I want the Clown back. I've never been able to do it. I am the most computer illiterate Watcher by a long margin.

Hello all! I actually found the discord first, and while it took me a while, I finally registered here. I am young enough to be completely confused by the forum itself. I'm from Croatia and read the books a few years ago. The First and Second Chronicles were some of my mom's favourite books and she passed them on to me just like she did her love of reading. My favourite book from the Chronicles is the One Tree and my favourite characters are the giants. I think that's all there is to know for starters. Glad to be here!

Be Welcome to the Watch, moses.

Like the discord, we discuss various topics here, not just things which are SRD related. Explore, peruse, and respond. You should find many a topic to engage you.

LOL didn't realise you were that young. ;)

Nice to see you here as well. Like Menolly said, it's like the Discord, but maybe a bit more structured, and a bit more asynchronous. ;)

Click on the "categories" on the index page to see topics in that category, and on the topics themselves to see the discussion.

Welcome aboard. ;)

Hey all!

I read the First Chronicles before all of the Second had been published. When White Gold Wielder came out, I re-read the first five books before reading WGW.

I've been "saving" the Last Chronicles for the longest time, but since I read slowly, I figured I'd better start sometime! In preparation, of course I went back to re-read again. Having finished The One Tree, I feel like I have a pretty odd consumption patter so far:

LFB: 3 times
TIW: 3 times
TPTP: 3 times

TWL: 3 times
TOT: 3 times
WGW: 1 time

Last Chronicles: 0

My favorite book is The Illearth War, but after three reads I also have a great appreciation for The Wounded Land

Can't wait for the rest!

Good to meet you, Wolvus na-Morham-in, and I hope you'll feel free to join in any conversation anywhere here!

Like you, I've read the first two Chronicles series straight-through three times apiece and have also red the Last Chronicles books three times, but have looked up "favorite passages" of the first two Chronicles countless times, for fun.

I love the Illearth War, too, and also The Power That Preserves, The Wounded Land, and Fatal Revenant from the Last Chronicles.

Welcome to the Watch! :welcome:
