cheval wrote:Seafoam and I are quite alike it seems. The chapter that was assigned to me is also done and, although edited and rewritten a few times, is also a long "summery" of Landward.
It may not be a long chapter, but I had a hard time deciding what was going to be omitted and what was going to be shortened.
(My first time at attempting this, so please be gentle. :) )
I didn't realize that doing a dissection was going to be tough, but it was enjoyable.
When can Chapter 5 be submitted? Should I just post it or send it to someone first?

BTW - I agree with waiting for dissecting RUNES until after WGW is done,
Even though I may be one of those "first" people to get in line for RUNES.
Remember that a dissection is not only a summary of the chapter you're assigned but your own insight to what's going on. Sort of helping us see the events through another viewpoint. Helping us in effect broaden our understanding of the whole story.
Please post it yourself directly as Danlo requested in another thread titled in the Dissection area
Please do not PM me your dissections-this is why:
It saves the man a lot of grief. He should be (ahem) posting the official schedule anytime soon or has already at the beginning of this thread.

Geez I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets their dissection pre-written. I didn't want to seem an eager beaver ya know... hee hee
But for a Giant some tales cannot be contained to wait their turn.

Just finished my chapter. I was mulling it over on my trip home from Elohimfest, and finally got around, this evening, to getting my thoughts down. :)

Sorry folks. I know I'm late. I appreciate the patience. I'll have it up tomorrow night at the latest. :D

:( I've had umpteen distractions, and I'm not ready either. Certainly by the weekend.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I'm still around, just went on holiday, and then had little time to check the forums while preparing for "Con season" over here in Italy :D I'll be on schedule with my chapter of WGW, promise!

Darth's comp broke down on him and Earthy has been kind enough to cover and says he will get the next chapter up by Sunday at the very latest. Thanks Earthy!

heh. :P

I'm sorry about letting you down. But I take my time with my dissections... read the chapter 3 or 4 times, then Mark which part I want to quote, and discuss. It takes me a lot of hours, and the most I have in the library a day is four, and I can't concentrate in here. it's suprisingly loud for a library :?

However, I have already promised to do a chapter for Runes, and look forward to doing so. :)

And Earthy will do an excellent job, I'm sure of it. :)

The Path to Pain merely whetted my appetite. So if anyone finds that they are unable to deliver a chapter, I'd gladly fill in. Only as a last resort, of course!

In their little hobbit holes sitting by the fire, drinking Pitchbrew, salivating and rubbing their hands together in glee-eagerly anticipating the release of Runes! :P I promise to bring the book to work next week and contribute! 8)

Danlo,
I can have a chapter done in a week or so if you'd like.
It would only be my second time, but I'm game.
Just let me know which chapter and I can see what
I can do, but only if you really need me.
(I don't want to steal anyone's thunder from them.)
