Would you be interested in a signed copy of Runes

Post by bsaenz24 »

Hi all,

I found a site called www.signedpage.com that sells signed hardbacks of the sci-fi / fanatasy genres for fans who can't get to a signing for a particular author. They have the coming China Mieville available. The prices are great too. Just the retail price, plus shipping. I was going to request that they try to attend a Stephen Donaldson signing if there seemed enough interest from fans here in getting a signed copy of Runes. Please respond if you think you'd be interested.

Brad

P.S. Just an FYI, I have no connection to Signed Page, I just think it's a really cool idea and great for fans.

The person who runs that site is a Watch member. He's been trying to get some signed copies of Runes for that site, but Steve's been too swamped lately to fit anything else in his schedule.

But keep checking back with that site - they DO have other books by great authors!
And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.

Thanks, Romeo. I wasn't for sure if this thread was legit. I was afraid it was another attempt to sell ARCs.

Yeah, working hard on Steve right now. :) Hopefully we can have signed or personalized books of RUNES for those of you who can't meet Steve but still want a signed book. Right now we are going for the holiday season in late November, so voice your wishes here and maybe it can happen!

Shawn

PS: It's legit. If I wanted to sell my manuscript of RUNES I'd post it for auction somewhere and it would go immediately. :) But how on earth could I part with such a thing?? ;)

Signed Runes ??

Runs across desert, passing Sandgorgon named Nom, sticks tongue out, and speeds on buy to nearest "Sign me up now" booth.

Count me in.
(perhaps a poll should be added to the thread to get a rough count?)
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
