I got 8/20 8O and it meant:

"Not bad at all. You show great promise as a scholar and traveling companion. By answering so many questions correctly you have won yourself the title, "Journeyman-Apprentice, Orc Level.""

14/20: Excellent performance. Whilst not attaining the coveted Elf or Balrog status, your well-rounded knowledge of the field entitles you to the honorific, "Apprentice-Master, Gandalf Level."

I'm tied with danlo at 14.

Now somebody explain to me why Gandalf is rated below Balrogs or any elf! :x I'm not happy about that at all! He killed a Balrog, for crying out loud! He later said (I don't suspect he was exaggerating) that he was more dangerous than anybody but Sauron. He was the mastermind behind the entire War of the Rings!

Well done! You know your stuff. From this day forth you may be known as "Master of Epic Fantasy, Balrog Level." You have little to learn and much to feel smug about! May men, women and various smallfolk continue to fall at your feet.

I guess a couple of lucky guesses is all it takes. :-)

Although I guessed on more than half the questions...

I think without the guesses I would have scored more like five or six...a humble Orc Level :D

I just took it again, and after reading many more works of fantasy, I scored around 10-13. :? Somewhere around there, since they're too cheap to actually tell you what youre score is!

I got 12 too. Of course I used my powers of deduction (guessing) to get 5 or 6 right.
Good enough for me.

17, 'Balrog level'.

I missed the question about Malory.

I should have known better, 'cos he and I were cellmates back around 1470.

(Of the three statements above, one is a dam' lie. .00001% extra credit for the first one who can tell me which one it is.)
