Welcome to the Hall of Gifts!
I envision this forum as a place for us to share the gifts of our creative spirits with each other. Danlo has definately gotten us off to a rousing start! Thanks, Lord!
What sorts of things can I see being posted here? Perhaps short stories and poems, perhaps links to people's homepages so we can see their art? We'll have to wait and see what gifts are granted us!

duchess, do you want things sent to you? Since you're the moderator, maybe you have limits to what you want here. Particularly size, although there might be topics that you don't want to be a part of your Hall. I know you'll say it's everybody's hall, not yours, but I'm thinking that someone's vision must guide it?
Or should we just start a "new topic" and post our stuff?

F&F, I also see this forum as belonging to everyone! I guess my only stipulations would be no explicit sex, language, or violence, to spare the feelings of those who would be truly offended by such things. But none of us would write such things anyway, right?
I haven't really thought of any sort of strict guidlines as to length, but I would probably be sort of surprised if someone tried to post a 1,000 page novel or epic poem...perhaps someone else would be willing to tackle those in a long fiction forum?
Oh, and the one thing I will absolutely NOT tolerate as a moderator is people flaming each other's work. I see this as a place of sharing and support, not a place to mock, belittle, or make people feel bad about their "kids". I don't think that ANYONE on Kevinswatch right now would do that sort of thing, Kevinswatch people are NICE people , but I want to make that very clear for the future!!

I like it here!!
and it would be an honour to post something of interest to this forum if I could come up with something worth posting ..
I will be chuffed to pop in and read what others post though .. I have read some really great stuff from Mhoram and danlo and others who have posted previously here and elsewhere .. so keep it coming guys!!
I wish I was more of the creative type .. I have exercised some creative prowess before .. but that creative work is too big now to be posted here .. but I could post pics of my offspring .. thats about the limit of my creativity I'm afraid
I do fix fences creatively I am told ..
nah I have had dalliances with poetry some years ago .. but during my contemplative intraspective/depressive chapter of my youth .. now lifes good and stablilised I dont write stuff
.. its a terrible irony!! .. a paradox if you will!!
I'll have a dig around .. or not

No offense to the gamers, but the Hall of Gifts looks so much... cleaner now. Well done.
