OK. Where the heck is it (UK) ?

Post by Lambolt »

I must admit it's been a while since I've posted here, but I don't see any obvious threads about this.

Where the heck is this book in the UK? It's Oct 21, first of all Waterstone's staff had no idea about it, then they could only find one with a release date of November 11th. Amazon is listing it as available but in 3-5 weeks

Am I missing something here?

I still can't find it in Canada...I've been checking every couple days since the 14th *sigh* everyone just keeps telling me "all we have is that it'll be here sometime in October," but I'm getting the feeling that the person who told me Nov. 1st was right.

Heh, I had the same problem lee. I tried Waterstone's first (because they have a coffee shop in there), then after trapsing across town to Blackwell's I discovered they didn't have it either. I thought I was going to have to make the trip to Meadowhell at the weekend, but suddenly thought of WH Smiths and hey presto! I got £3 off the cover price too.

I got 3 copies from WH Smith in Leeds for £40! Buy 2 get one half price - one is for Creator in the US.

Did'nt expect WHS to have them on release date and was very pleasantly (under statement) surprised.

Waterstones still didn't have it at the weekend, which is pretty terrible. Pennine books have got it in their window though, yay!

i checked all my local bookstores for about a week and noone had any idea about it, i had to get it in glasgow instead.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Full of the heavens and time.
