I just read the Gap, and I must say, it made me think a lot about this book. Gateway, by Frederich Pohl is my favorite sci-fi novel of all time. (which is probably part of the reason I enjoyed GAP so much) and I was just wondering what you all thought of it? It has been a year or two since I read it, I think I lent out my paperback copy a while ago, so I will have to buy a new one.

Not familiar with it at all, although I like Pohl. Will have to keep an eye out for it.

I know I've read it, I'm just trying to remember the plot. Is that the one where there are these space ships that were built by aliens, but we have no idea how to really work them, they just go wherever they like and people just get in them and hope for the best?
Pohl is generally quite good, but my memory fails me.
