Galaxy Quest Sequel

Post by Loredoctor »

Just read in the newspaper that producers are talking about a sequel to Galaxy Quest. The great thing is that all the cast are very keen to come back.

That would be cool! I really enjoyed the first movie! It had fun with Star Trek and its fans, without ever being mean spirited. 8)

Just talking, eh? I'll wait to see how serious they are, but it would definitely be great to have the Galaxy Quest crew back in action.

My only concern is that the gimmick may be lost; they aren't so naive now.

You must rent, beg or steal a copy and watch it! It is hilarious, and there are so many semi-obscure Trek references it boggles the mind. Alan Rickman is hilarious in it, and Tim Allen is great, too (which is saying a lot, coming from me). A sequel would be interesting, that's for sure. You have to wonder what the plot would be, though... I'm not sure they could pull it off, really.

I loved the first Galaxy Quest!!! Alan Rickman was my favourite character, he head some of the best lines. 8) I reckon they would be able to do a sequel.
