I posted this on Ahira's Hangar yesterday: I heard a weird song on the radio 2day that went: I'm living with this leprosy, do you wanna hold my hand? The TC implications were mindblowing (I wonder if it was Holocaust?)--I have 2 find out who does that song!!!
Do u kno this song? I've got 2 find out the title and artist!!!!

That, my dear Danlo, is Anger Rising by Jerry Cantrell (who i've seen in concert... woo hoo) from the album Degredation Trip. didn't know the song was on the radio, tho. complete lyrics.
I can burn it onto mp3 for you if you want.Alabama trailer park they call home
Boy standing at attention in the corner his own
Terrified, scorpion crawling the wall
By the way father could you please beat me some more?
Anger rising up inside him yet again
Tell me you got a plan
Deaf and blind I'm living with the lepers and
You want to hold my hand
Cold Alaska, hiding, bundled up tight
Stretch aluminum foil 'cross the window at night
Mother crying, calling out up the stairs
By the way father do you even care that I'm scared?
Anger rising up inside him yet again
Tell me you got a plan
Deaf and blind I'm living with the lepers and
You want to hold my hand
Devil rising up inside him yet again
Tell me you got a plan
Deaf and blind I'm living with the lepers and
You want to hold my hand
Generation three, solitary, alone
By the way father created hell on my own
Anger rising up inside him yet again
Tell me you got a plan
Deaf and blind I'm living with the lepers and
You want to hold my hand

Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Jerry Cantrell rocks. I recommend both of his albums. If you're looking for something to fill the void of Alice in Chains, that's the ticket. I believe it's the whole band minus Layne Staley (rest in peace).
speaking of grunge gods, anybody heard the whole Audioslave (Rage Against the Machine minus Zak de la Roche plus Chris Cornell from Soundgarden) album? The reviews and the single haven't convinced me yet.

more on grunge gods... I was in the library the other night and I saw a book on the new release shelf. I forget the title, but it was a collection of photocopied pages straight out of Kurt Cobain's journals. Some pretty interesting stuff. I think I'm going to go back for it soon.

"Well of course I understand. You live forever because your pure, sinless service is utterly and indomitably unballasted by any weight or dross of mere human weakness. Ah, the advantages of clean living."
