I feel like rambling... hear me, listen to what I like...

currently watching the DVD of series 1 of Star Trek (yes watched them all before, but oh man it's so crispy clean and those primary colours and hey no two plot stories, just one main narrative and...and.. double plus good)

currently reading... the runes of the earth... bless me father for I have sinned, my thoughts have been away from the land for too long.

watching (if nothing better to do) stargate, stargate Atlantis, watching even if something better to do Superman the nearly years, miss angel and buffy (so sad)

looking forward to the final farscape miniseries this year on British TV.

liked the dune messiah adaptation on sci-fi

love to death the chronicles of TC, loved beyond death the gap series.

Peter Hamilton and his books, reality dysfunction, nutronium alchemist, naked god... all superb as was the fallen dragon

My current "media input" is pretty simple.

Reading - Runes by you know who. Almost finished it, then back to the classics (Dickens and Alice in Wonderland...)
Watching
- Buffy Season 6 - I've borrowed seasons 6 and 7 from my little sister and am watching an episode a night. So far I think they shouldve ended it after season 5 - it seems forced. No spoilers please if you've seen the last two seasons
- 'Lain'. Any anime fans out there? 'Lain' is a wonderful story about a young girl who is slowly drawn into the power of the Internet (the Wired). It has conspiracy overtones and talks a lot about consciousness. Some of the best TV I've ever seen. (...and I've seen a LOT)

- Music. Well, classical, Sarah Mclachlan (FTE and Surfacing), and Something for Kate. Oh, and The White Stripes' cover of Dolly Parton's haunting tune 'Joelene' - brilliant.

Once I've finished Buffy I plan on watching the rest of the X-Files - I got too busy at Uni at about Season 3. And now that theyre all on DVD ...

Bootle, nice, being brought up there is 'the school of hard knocks'. Ask your Dad has he eaten any scouse lately.

you broke my heart in 17 places including bootle LP by Tracy Ullman always made me laugh.
