(umm... the last five syllables here are "-py to be here now"... not sure how to proceed ... BTW, a haiku has lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables ... okay, it's just a game ... I'll go with ...)
Sorry wayfriend- I was just shooting for 17 syllables. Haiku's can be written in different ways. From haikuworld.com
