I'd be more than a little surprised if anyone's ever heard this. His name is Jeffrey Gaines. He was opening for Melissa Etheridge about 10 years ago. I was working in a music store, and he came in to sing a few songs while they were in the area during the tour.

Some clues to my little triv contest:
As u can tell by the spelling of colours this is an English band...
Bannor knos this group really well...
they have one of the best bassists in music history, imho...
It is NOT Pink Floyd...

<I>Dido and Aeneas</I>, by Henry Purcell, a Brit from the 1600's. Libretto by Josiah Priest. My favorite opera. Possibly because it's only about an hour long :) But pretty amazing stuff, though.

The overture is a "French Overture", for reasons of tempo and rhythm. It was my introduction to Baroque music. It's only around 5 minutes, but is one of my favorite pieces.

And <I>Dido's Lament</I>, her death song, is kinda indescribable.
