Let It Be--Lennon/McCartney

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
Thank you! |G
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

*blows kisses* Your most welcome, dear lady.
Sweet peace come to me
Calm the chaos churning within
Sweet Jesus enwrap me
Enlighten my heart so dim

My soul seeks Thee
In breathless desperation it cries
Sweet Jesus enwrap me
As my body slowly dies...

For Lucimay and Avatar.
I finally found the youtube. :)
The Box
by ~Lascelles

Once upon a time in the land of Hush-a-bye
Around about the wondrous days of yore
They came across a sort of box
Bound up with chains and locked with locks
And labeled, “Kindly Do Not Touch - It’s War.”

Decree was issued round about
All with a flourish and a shout
And a gaily colored mascot tripping lightly on before
“Don’t fiddle with this deadly box
Or break the chains or pick the locks
And please don’t ever play about with war.”

Well the children understood
Children happen to be good
And they were just as good around the time of yore
They didn’t try to pick the locks
Or break into that deadly box
They never tried to play about with war.

Mommies didn’t either
Sisters, Aunts, or Grannies neither
Cause’ they were quiet and sweet and pretty
In those wondrous days of yore.

Well, very much the same as now
And not the ones to blame somehow
For opening up that
deadly box of war.

But someone did
Someone battered in the lid
And spilled the insides
out across the floor.

A sort of bouncy bumpy ball
Made up of flags and guns and all
The tears and horror and death
That goes with war.

It bounced right out
And went bashing all about
And bumping into every thing in store.
And what was sad and most unfair
Is that it really didn’t seem to care
Much who it bumped
or why,
or what,
or for.

It bumped the children mainly
And I’ll tell you this quite plainly
It bumps them everyday
And more and more.
And leaves them sad and burned and dying
Thousands of them sick and crying
Cause’ when it bumps it’s
really very sore.

Now there’s a way to stop the ball
It isn’t difficult at all
All it takes is wisdom
And I’m absolutely sure
That we could get it back into the box
And bind the chains and lock the locks
But no one seems to want
to save the children anymore.

Well, that’s the way it all appears
Cause’ it’s been bouncing round for years and years
In spite of all the wisdom wiz’
Since those wondrous days of yore…

In the time they came upon a box
Bound up with chains and locked with locks
And labeled, “Kindly Do Not Touch - It’s War”

Ow!
I've been lookin' for a trace
Lookin' for a heart,
Lookin' for a lover in a world
That's much too dark
Because you don't want my love, no, no
You wanna sati-satisfaction
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, ow!
You don't need my love
You got to find yourself another
Another piece, another piece of the Action,
yeah, ow yeah, look out

Say where ya goin? What you gonna do?
I been lookin' everywhere said I,
I been lookin' for you
Because you don't want my love, no, no
You wanna sati-satisfaction
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
You don't need my love
You got to find yourself another
Another piece, another piece
Of the action

You're crazy, hey, hey
You know you're crazy, oh my!
You're fuckin' crazy, oh child
You know you're crazy
Ay,ay,ay,ay,ay,ay,ah,ah,ah,ah, yeah!
Woh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Oh na,no,na,no,na,no,na,no,na,no,no,no
No,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no
No,no,no, no, no, no, no,no,no,no,no,no
no,no,no! Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no, Oh no, ow! -Woooh, yeah!

Say, boy, where ya comin' from?
Where'd ya get that point of view?
When I was younger
I knew a Motherfucker like you,
and she said,
'You don't need my love,
You wanna sati-satisfaction,' Bitch
You don't need my love,
You've got to find yourself another
Another piece, another piece
Of the action

You're crazy, hey, hey
You know you're crazy, oh my!
You're fuckin' crazy, oh child
You know you're crazy, Ay, ay, ay, ay,
You know you're crazy, Hey, hey,
You're fuckin' crazy, Oh child,
You know you're crazy, Ay, ay, ay, ay,
You're fuckin' crazy, Yeah
You know you are!
Bring it down!

For Cambo... and StevieG!

Slumber
Days; they force you back under those covers,
lazy mornings; they multiply,
glory's waiting outside your windows.
Wake on up from your slumber, baby open up your eyes.

Tongues are violent, personal and focused,
tough to be with your steady mind,
Hearts are stronger after broken.
Wake on up from your slumber, baby open up your eyes...
Never seen the video until now... I'm sure I don't get most of it, but wow, I am amused.

to my valentine

Your Love is King

Your love is king
Crown you with my heart
Your love is king
Never need to part
Your kisses ring
Round and round and round my head
Touching the very part of me
It's making my soul sing
Tearing the very heart of me
I'm crying out for more
Your love is king
Crown you with my heart
Your love is king
You're the ruler of my heart
Your kisses ring
Round and round and round my head
Touching the very part of me
It's making my soul sing
I'm crying out for more
Your love is king
you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

for julie...

How many girls choose cotton dress worlds
When they could have satins and lace
And stand by her man, never once letting shade touch her face
How many hearts could live through all the winters
We've known and still not be cold
True love travels on a gravel road.
Love is a stranger and hearts are in danger
All through streets paved with gold
For true love travels on a gravel road
Down through the years we've had hard times and tears
But they only helped our love grow
And we'll stay together no matter how strong the wind blows
Not once have I seen your blue eyes filled with envy
Or stray from the one that you hold
Oh true love travels on a gravel road.
Love is a stranger and hearts are in danger
All through streets paved with gold
For true love travels on a gravel road.
Yeah, true love travels on a gravel road.
MmmmTrue love travels on a gravel road.
True love travels on a gravel road.

why thank you.

and now one for our art father - Tom (rip)

I try to stay busy
I do the dishes, I mow the lawn
I try to keep myself occupied
Even though I know you're not coming home

I try to keep the house nice and neat
I make my bed I change the sheets
I even learned how to use the washing machine
But keeping things clean doesn't change anything

What am I gonna do when I run out of shirts to fold?
What am I gonna do when I run out of lawn to mow?
What am I gonna do if you never come home?
Tell me, what am I gonna do?

I hate it
I hate it here
When you're gone

I caught myself thinking
I caught myself thinking once again
Have to try to keep my mind out of this
Try not to pretend

I'll check the phone
I'll check the mail
I'll check the phone again and I call your mom
She says you're not there and I should take care

I hate it here
When you're gone
I hate it
I hate it here
When you're gone

I try to stay busy
I take out the trash, I sweep the floor
Try to keep myself occupied
Cause I know you don't live here anymore

Thank You Dennis for 'True Love...'
and I miss Tom so much...

And now for you.

David Gilmour - Remember A Day

Remember a day before today
A day when you were young.
Free to play alone with time
Evening never came.
Sing a song that can't be sung
Without the morning's kiss
Queen - you shall be it if you wish
Look for your king Why can't we play today
Why can't we stay that way Climb your favorite apple tree
Try to catch the sun
Hide from your little brother's gun
Dream yourself away
Why can't we reach the sun
Why can't we blow the years away
Blow away
Blow away
Remember
Remember

Rick Wright wrote that. We were so sad when he passed.

Something for Sgt Null to enjoy while having pain meds.
The orb - A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld
The legendary pink dots - The saucers are coming
Coil - The sea priestess
Current 93 - The dream moves of the sleeping king

A side note about the orb. I went to a concert of theirs once and their manager really, really tried to get me to come back to their trailer to party with them. He was rather convincing! It was really funny- he offered so many pleasures.
Monsters, they eat
Your kind of meat
And they're moving as far as they can
And as fast as they can

ananda - thank you!

for julie - her favorite rem song

I fell asleep and read just about every paragraph.
Read the scene where gravity is pulling me around
Peel back the mountains peel back the sky
Stomp gravity into the floor
It's a Man Ray kind of sky
Let me show you what I can do with it
Time and distance are out of place here
Step up, step up, step up the sky is open-armed
When the light is mine
I felt gravity pull

Somewhere near the end it said
You can't do this
I said, I can too
Ships sway, rivers shift
Oceans form and mountains drift
It's a Man Ray kind of sky
Let me show you what I can do with it
Step up, step up, step up the sky is open-armed
When the light is mine
I felt gravity pull (into my eyes)
Holding my head straight (looking down)
This is the easiest task I've ever had to do

For Shuram-
I actually laughed out loud when I realized that the first video clicked on had pieces of text moving around... slightly like... tetris! Enjoy.

Busted Heart (Hold On To Me)

Winter has come back again
Feels like the season won't end
My faith is dying tonight
And I won't try to pretend

I've got it all figured out
I don't have any doubts
I've got a busted heart
I need You now
Yeah, I need You now

(Chorus)
Hold on to me, hold on to me
Don't let me lose my way
Hold on to me

I am the wandering son
Your love is never enough
I keep chasing the wind
Instead of chasing Your love
I'm screaming out Your name
Don't let me fall on my face
I've got a busted heart
I'm in need of a change
I'm desperate for grace

Hold on to me, take all of me
Don't let me lose my way
Hold on to me

Broke Your heart a thousand times
But You've never left my side
You have always been here for me

You never let me go
You never let me go
Don't ever let me go

Hold on to me, hold on to me
Don't let me lose my way
Hold on to me

Hold on to me, take all of me
Don't let me lose my way
Hold on to me

Until it comes to an end
Soon this season will end
I'll surrender tonight
You meet me right where I am

for julie... our wedding song....

george strait - i cross my heart

Our love is unconditional, we knew it from the start.
I see it in your eyes, you can feel it from my heart.
From here on after let's stay the way we are right now,
And share all the love and laughter
That a lifetime will allow.

I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.

You will always be the miracle that makes my life complete,
And as long as there's a breath in me, I'll make yours just as sweet.
As we look into the future, it's as far as we can see,
So let's make each tomorrow be the best that it can be.

I cross my heart and promise to
Give all I've got to give to make all your dreams come true.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine.

And if along the way we find a day it starts to storm,
You've got the promise of my love to keep you warm.
In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine,
A love as true as mine.
