Well, I know 1 and 3 are true, so 2 is the lie -- or is it? ;)

Yes you are correct.
These clues refer to my occupation, and since I am not a mortician, number two is the false statement.

Go ahead DragonLily you get to give it a whirl.

Let's see. I'm still trying to figure out how to do puzzles of medium difficulty.

1. I calculate in hundreds of thousands of dollars daily.
2. I will walk an extra mile to save myself a few dollars.
3. I am waiting my chance to get back thousands of dollars the government took away from my employer.

3 is true...it's tax-time.. :D

Now the choice is b/w 1 & 2.

Time is money, so walking that extra mile would actually cost money.

#2 is the lie.

Good going, ur-bane, 2 is the lie. There isn't much that could make me walk a mile. I would have to be on adrenaline overload to even start.

Oh boy. Now I am forced to think again.
What have I gotten myself into?

If weight was measured in minutes, I'd be 4 hours 10 minutes.
If height was measured in minutes, I'd be 1 hour 14 minutes.
If age was measured in minutes, I'd be 1 hour 35 minutes.

3 is clearly a lie. There's no way you are 95 years old.

If height was measured in minutes, I'd be 1 hour 14 minutes.

1 Hour is 60 minutes + 14 minutes = 74 minutes, or in height, 74 inches;
(However, I believe that ur-vile uses the Metric system, therfore the "inches" would be wrong.)
If weight was measured in minutes, I'd be 4 hours 10 minutes.
4 Hours = 240 minutes, or, 240 lbs. (Again, Metric would be different)
If age was measured in minutes, I'd be 1 hour 35 minutes.
RIGHT!!! This is the lie.

Sorry about not getting this in sooner. It is a busy weekend.

1. Next book in my reading stack is Mercedes Lackey/Roberta Gellis's ILL MET BY MOONLIGHT.
2. I have every book Joseph Kanon ever wrote.
3. A pizza was the cause of a major shift in my reading.

2. I have every book Joseph Kanon ever wrote.
Not no reason at all, I think that this is the lie.
1. Next book in my reading stack is Mercedes Lackey/Roberta Gellis's ILL MET BY MOONLIGHT.
Too detailed to be made-up.
3. A pizza was the cause of a major shift in my reading.
If it made you ill and put you in bed for a while,
you'd probably read a lot more than usual.

Cheval :)

1. could have been made up because it's a book I have been trying to get for a month without success -- until last night.

3. I stopped off at a pizza place after book shopping and needed something to read while eating. I took out of my bag a historical novel that turned out to be so good that I set my sci fi series aside and pulled out several related historicals to read next, instead.

But yes, you are right about the Kanons. I only have one, and haven't read it yet.

Your turn.

Actually, three is true, so either 1 or 2 is false. :)

I think #1 because I believe that you posted something
about religion several months ago, though I cannot recall the thread.
(Will have to dig deeper...)
I think it had something about you and Loremaster have the same beliefs,
or maybe I am just barking up the wrong tree totally!
