A Storm of Swords
*Sighs*It seems with every justice that was done, there were manifold injustices...horrible wrongdoings! Ah! Fear, fire, foes, awake! Storm of Swords has been the best one yet, and the sickening parts just as sickening as the last two, if you take my meaning. comes to mind... Oi, looks like I'll be picking bits and pieces, while Martin prepares the "Feast"... Also, it looks like Arya is evolving from a "Weasel" to an assassin... Sounds like if the Gods won't answer all her prayers...she'll answer them herself. *Cackles Foul-like*
The Red Wedding
At least Joff's wedding ended nicely...and those rumors about Lord Tywin's "gold" were proven untrue, "in the end"...

Lord Foul, there is a bit of Feast being served this month in Dragon magazine (March, 2003 issue). It is a self contaained novella, and part of the prologue of the novel. Unfortunately, I cannot find the bloody thing at any of my area bookstores.
And, yes
And, yes
Spoiler
The Red Wedding made me mad! I had the only fullscale temper tantrum of my adult life. It's the only time I've thrown a book into a wall and then jumped up and down on it! I screamed a lot, too. But Joff's wedding present made me very happy!!!

I loved ASOS, but I think AGOT is better because
Spoiler
while re-reading it, it touches me when Robb and Jon part, when Jon and Arya depart, etc. because I know Robb is dead and the rest probably won't see each other for a long time. Also, the Red Wedding made me extremely angry, but when Joffrey married, I laughed out loud. At least Robb wasn't killed by his dinner, plus it was so ironic, it was sweet. As Jon Snow said, 'Prince Joffrey is truly a little shit.

I just read past the Red Wedding part and I just about died!!!!! My husband thought there was something seriously wrong when I read that part because I just got up from the table and paced around the house saying "oh no" and "Oh my gosh" over and over again as if my life was over.
These are some of the best books I have ever read!! I almost don't want to finish ASOS because AFOC isn't out yet. Went to Barnes and Noble and they have a late August date of release. I don't know how I will ever be able to wait!

The King has one more move.

Infelice, Storm of Swords the third book of the series A Storm of Ice and Fire by G.R.R. Martin. If you are familiar with Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, it's everything that that, which started with great promise, is not. Without giving away too much this link to Amazon:
www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/ ... ce&s=books
links you to the first book in the series A Game of Thrones

Thanks for the link Damelon . I'll check out my local bookstore to see if they have any in stock, they seem to be pretty recent publications so I'm optimistic. By the time I have them bought and read, I should be just in time for the fourth one.

Danlo has the group read moving again at the Hangar. If you are a Martin fan, please join in and make comments!
Here in the States they kept A Storm of Swords in one large volume, both paperback and hardcover. I have heard that in some other Lands, though, they split the book into two due to its sheer size...

But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.
