Primer

Post by [Syl] »

Here's a sleeper if I ever saw one. It hits the video stores tomorrow, so I thought I'd check it out. Sounded like a pretty good sci-fi flick. I was quite impressed.

If you're only going to watch this once, take lots of notes. Unfortunately, I had a lot of distractions while I was watching this, so I still don't have my head around a lot of it. It's harder to follow than Memento, but worth it, I think.

Ah, and if you're into the big production values and such... Well, I read that this movie cost $7,000. *shrug* Even if it's a hundred times that, it's still better than most of the sci-fi flicks of late with a thousand times that.

trawling through Flicks i found this thread and thought i should revive it.
this is a GREAT movie! i include the link to the film site to encourage everyone to see it. like Syl said, it takes a bit to get your head around it, i had to watch it 3 times just to figure out what was going on...or at least what i THINK was going on. let's just say i've formed a theory. has anyone besides Syl and I seen this? i bought it.

I haven't seen it, but you've both intrigued me. I might buy it if I can find it for a reasonable price. I'm not a person who requires lavish production.
