Here is another: What was the negotiated price of the Elohim's good will to the Giants during their early travels?
Isn't this the same question you asked a few days ago? Or, are you talking about Honninscrave's first visit to the Elohim?

Dlbpharm

the earlier question was about the gift of tongues;

it's actually not the same question; Honniscrave relates to Linden that even the goodwill of the elohim must be purchased. He states the Giants bargaining for a the goodwill of the Elohim with a gift :
A thing so common among us that we scarcely though to offer it...
probably now a give-away... :)

A story?
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Just needed a clarification - Honninscrave and his friends taught the Elohim how to tie a simple, sailor's knot.

Honniscrave said:
Even their goodwill must be won in barter-and in this bartering we are blind, for the quality which gives a thing or tale value in their sight is concealed. ... And the goodwill of the Elohim for me and my companions was won by the teaching of a simple knot...

Heres one :

What is the name of the area, which is 10 leagues long, that ''in ancient centuries, great crops had flourished.''?

I seem to recall an area that was wasted and wrong, and the New Lords sought to revitalize it, and had worked on it during Covenant's 40 year absence. is this the place?

Indeed correct, one of my favourite moments of the whole Chronicles.

Right...

Andelainscion?
Conscear Redoin?

I'll try to remember as many others as I can and come back, without looking at the book.
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

I did too, and I remember being ticked off because none of the names are mentioned in 1st Chronicles. I realized then that it was the knowledge of the Waynhim that allowed Covenant to know those names.
