I've hunted and searched the official SRD site and cannot find any publishing schedule. I'm more than half finished with book #7 and would like to know when to expect books #8, #9 & #10. Can anyone either answer this question or point me to a published schedule?

He was given 3 years between books, which is what the schedule was for the 2nd Chrons if I recall. I remember waaaaaaaaiting and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiting for The One Tree and White Gold Weilder. Thought he would NEVER get them done!!!

I think that it is good that SRD takes his time with the books. I believe that as with all good writers, SRD enjoys writing himself into corners and fighting his way out with creativity. That creativity doesn't just happen although sometimes it can. Usually thoough you will have a dream, an experience, or other epiphany that will carry you through. The unfortunate truth is that this takes time.
The other danger for writers is that they fall in love with what they are doing. Love is blind and unusually silly which is probably why we have songs about making a fool of myself for you. SRD could crank these things out like some others I won't mention (because I might get sued - sic) but he doesn't. He lets them age like a good wine and then returns to them for a continuity reading. This is the crucial stage that can't be done until the book has aged and the writer is no longer emotionally involved with the work.
Some may still think that 3 years is a long time even for this and it is a long time. But he is following up on what is arguably the best fantasy series. It's not necessarily ground-breaking original like Tolkien's work. It's best considered a more mature version of the ring story with deeper characters and better description through concise storytelling. I'd rather wait 3 years for a polished SRD stamp-o-approval version than have a blatent misuse of the Title simply to make money.
I do hope the rest of the Last Chronicles gets better though because Runes leaves me thinking it would be better suited to called Ruins. I'm certain that I will like it more when Thomas Covenant is back into the tale though because I never felt comfortable with anyone's view except his and to an extent Hile's viewpoint. Linden and Bloodguard vantages lack the edge that SRD can employ when he's not fumbling around with something he isn't consumately familar with such as not being a woman or an emotionless fighting machine. Hopefully Foul will be equally interesting.
