The Arch of Time...

Post by moksha Jehannum »

I understand most of what it is, but still I just wanted to see what every one else had to say about it.

And is Lord Foul despite or Covenant or what?

..The Arch of Time is the frame of relevancy and Lord Foul as despite and Convenant are the surreal manifestations therein.....great help ain't I...MEL
If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.

I only half understand, but your still going to have to put it in simpler terms. Shows how smart I am!

You might want to mention that you haven't finished the 2nd Chrons yet, to try and help people avoid giving you spoilers. And be very careful about topics in the TC forum, 'cause they're rife with them.

Have fun

He hasn't?!! Well he stuck this in Dissecting, but this is the only appropriate place I could think for it. (if I had a mom like Av I wouldn't be the mess I am today :P ). I've never really given the Arch much thought: Foul's prison--a phenomenon not to be messed with. :?

i would say that the Arch of Time is life. The Creator can't just take out Lord Foul. It would be like God or whatever deity you believe in taking all emotion out of life. You might say that not all emotion is painful or harmful. Not true, not true. If you are really happy, don't you sometimes cry? If you love someone and have to tell them to leave for the greater good, don't you feel pain in your heart? the point is, no matter what, the creator can't take the Despiser out of the world because in order to create us a balance had to be made. That balance was Lord Foul. It is something we all have to deal with. Taking emotion out of our lives would destroy us utterly. How could we live without caring to live? We would simply starve or just disappear. If you couldn't think of a reason to do anything, for joy, laughs or just for a random thought how would you go through life. *whew* that was a long one.
Be true, not only to thyself but to others, for no matter how they may assault you remember this: there is still love in the world.
