Well, I was finally able to catch The Aristocrats this weekend. I had to go down into DC to find a theater that was playing it, but it was worth it.
Overall, the movie was really funny. It had a lot of great comedians.
Of course, the jokes they were telling were some of the filthiest and most obscene stuff I've ever heard in my life, heh.
But overall, the movie was great. A lot of fun. And there were definitely a couple of scenes where I was just completely cracking up uncontrollably. Just hysterical.
Not a movie you take your kids to see, though. Heh.-jay

Well, yes and no. The beginning of the joke is the same, and the "punchline" is the same, but each comedian makes up the "middle". The punchline really isn't the funny part of the joke (In fact, the punchline is really quite lame, heh). The funny part is how the comedians build up the "middle" of the joke.dlbpharmd wrote:I've been hearing alot about this movie. Aren't the comedians just telling the same joke over and over? What's so funny about that? (I've read the joke on the internet, and to me it's not a bit funny anyways.)
It's really quite interesting, and a sort of background theme of the movie is how different people have different styles of humor. Each comedian has their own way of telling the same joke, and it's different each time.
As a documentary on humor, it's pretty good. It goes into a little about what makes a joke a joke, the styles of different comedians, ect. But that's more in the background. The main point is that it's just really funny.-jay
Oh yeah, and Bob Saget really is a filthy man...heh. And he's funny as hell.
