I'm a little annoyed that it hasn't been activated yet. It's been more than 8 hours since I created it. Jay knows my feelings on this. Looks like I'll have to pm him. *Waiting for Pam to say, "Oh Eric, let Jay take care of Jay."*

*snort*

Not this time.
I recently created a new account, and the automated email didn't work.
(my own fault though)
But, I actually tracked Jay down via AIM and asked for activation...

On this, I understand...

I found hardcover copies of MT and BH for $1 each at the local used book store yesterday!!! How happy am I?? I found HoC there several months ago, too. Gotta love it!!!

(Gotta feel great pity for the losers who would give away such books!!)

I finally got my copy of Midnight Tides from the local bookshop today. Not $1! More like $25 - so I'm supporting him...

I've yet to find any second hand copies around town. But it seems Erikson is popular, as I wasn't the only only one who had MT on order.

Stevie, where the heck do you live? The B&N and Borders by me usually have paperback copies of most of the books. Just several dollars for the small paperbacks, and more for the larger paperbacks.

For the moment, send me your address, and I'll send you a copy of The Bonehunters. I have three now that I picked up that hardcover yesterday.

That's very generous of you! I suspect the postage will cost more than the book though... PM coming!

I've been able to read all the books through my local library and inter-library loan. Just finished Reaper's Gale and the library should have my inter-library loan copy of Toll the Hounds either today or Monday.

One day I'll own my own copies, because re-reads seem essential, but for now the library is sating my need for an Erikson fix quite nicely.

LuciMay sent me GotM, then Fist...I mean Onos, sent me DHG, MoI and HoC (I owe you Fist. ;) ) because they weren't available in SA yet. Then two months ago I near bankrupted myself buying the rest, up to TtH.

I got my copy of Toll the Hounds the other day - it took so long to come out in regular paperback here. Now I just need to find some time to read it.

Guy at my new job has them, so will be borrowing them for my 3rd re-read, which will be my first read of all of them in order. :D

Hahaha. Make more and I'm sure I can get it added... ;)

(As for the fast reading, it has it's drawbacks. I waited a year or two for Runes, and read it in one night. It leaves you somewhat...disorientated...all that anticipation, then it's over.)

Hood's balls! 8O I could maybe read Illusions in one night, but not much more than that! And to think, all that anticipation and frantic reading for RotE, of all books. *shakes head* Such a shame.

:LOLS: Oh, that's about how I read anything if I'm undistracted.

Makes it hard for me to switch authors if I read a long series though...So when I do a read, of King for example, I tend to read everything I own by him before moving to the next author. And the first few hundred pages are always a struggle to get into the new mode of thought.

Been around longer than that Fist guy! I didn't even know who Rake or Erikson were back when this guy made his posts. I even responded to him!
