It was a private ballot this year Cag. Looks like the thread with the ballot that you then inserted into a PM to Syl has been deleted.Cagliostro wrote:Wow, I tied in two categories. Cool, thanks to those who voted, and as for voting, where the hell were the ballots? I didn't vote this year because I never saw it. Oh well.

There was a ballot thread, but I merged it with the other threads to clean up after it was all done. Sorry, man, but it was in A&S and everything.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

FYI, I have finally (sorry for the delay) made items for all four Watchies that we have held so far (2005 to 2008). If you have won a Watchy in any of the previous four years, please buy an item in the store for that year. DO NOT buy an item if you didn't win an award (this is called the "honor system", boys and girls).
I have also made WotY award items for each of the four winners.
I don't particularly like the item images, so if anyone wants to make something better, feel free.
Any comments or problems, let me know. Thanks.

Damn.DO NOT buy an item if you didn't win an award (this is called the "honor system", boys and girls).
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.

"...and the 2009 Watchy goes to"
This year, 32 ballots for the Kevins Watch Awards were cast. No category garnered votes from every ballot, but several were in the 25 to 27 vote range. Not bad when the average daily number of users visiting the Watch is around 100 users.
