Trying to get anything that isn't Christmas music stuck in my head.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

Throw in some Five Finger Deathpunch or Otep, that'll go a long way to drowning out the sound of "premature Christmas muzak"

Yess, give me all your earworms. I'm intentionally crafting an entire playlist of them.

Sorus, I have long wanted to show you this song:
Air I Breathe / Mat Kearny
It's like got some stuff that makes a funky counterpoint with some of lyrics in your signature.
And snappy metaphors.
Does it qualify for Earworm status?

I've been listening to "Keep Your Eyes Open" / NEEDTOBREATHE.
Twice.
[Edit before clicking submit: No, thrice.]
[Edit before clicking submit: On #4 now.]
It's the kinda place I'm in today. I want to hear it...

Keep Your Eyes Open
Needtobreathe

If you could soldier on
Headstrong into the storm
I'll be here waiting on the other side
Don't look back
The road is long
The first days of the war are gone
Take back your former throne and turn the tide

'Cause if you never leave home, never let go
You'll never make it to the great unknown till you
Keep your eyes open, my love
So tell me you're strong, tell me you see
I need to hear it, can you promise me to
Keep your eyes open, my love

Just past... the circumstance
The first light, a second chance
No child could ever dance... the way.. you do, oh
Tear down the prison walls
Don't start the curtain call
Your chains will never fall until you do

...

Don't let the night become the day
Don't take the darkness to the grave
I know pain is just a place
The will has been broken
Don't let the fear become the hate
Don't take the sadness to the grave
I know the fight is on the way
When the sides have been chosen

'Cause if you never leave home, never let go
You'll never make it to the great unknown
Open up your eyes
Keep your eyes open
So tell me you're strong, tell me you see
I need to hear it, can you promise me to
Keep your eyes open, my love
So show me your fire, show me your heart
You know I'll never let you fall apart if you
Keep your eyes open, my love

I like that, Linna. Thanks! Always nice to get new music recommendations.

This is the song in my signature. I sometimes get obsessed with a song to the point where I will listen to it on loop, well, obsessively. It doesn't happen very often, but as I've mentioned here before, music is very visual to me. I end up with a whole storyboard for visuals I want to sync to the music, but I rarely end up actually finishing a project. I think that's the only song I ever completed two whole videos for, but that's mostly because it synced perfectly with visuals from Battlestar Galactica, and I just had to fit the pieces together.

At this point, some of it has burrowed so deep inside my brain that I'm not even sure an icepick could reach it.

Incantations - Mike Olfield

Trivia: music from Incantations was used to soundtrack The Space Movie. A documentary
on the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Coheed & Cambria - Vaxis - Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures

Okay, it's technically not out until next month, but they released a few tracks and I'm already obsessed. (As in, have listened to one song over 100 times since Saturday.) Probably their best album since 2007.
