If you frequent the original thread you know it's getting buggy, jumpy and is beginning to get overloaded. I talked to Vain about it and he suggested closing it...in the meantime:

I'm, appropriately, listening to Neil Young's Albuquerque off Tonight's the Night. 8)

I'm listening to "Everything in Its Right Place", by Radiohead. Love synthy keyboard songs. It's also very cathartic song for me. Feels like submerging in a hot tub.

You win the prize!

I'm listening to Radiohead (as per usual) covering Winter Wonderland.

Grant Lee Buffalo's "Mighty Joe Moon". Amazing piece of work from track one on.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Soundtrack to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Finally replaced the old cassette with a shiny new CD.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

umm....
Nothing.
I find listen to music while on the computer annoying.
My speakers are usually off all the time except for when I play movies or games.

How does that old song go? Summer rain beats on my window...is that it? Now luci's got me humming that in my head--runs off to Google.

edit: back. ARgggH! I feel like Ricky cauz luuuuci's driving me crazy! :P Couldn't find that particular song but found this memorable song with many of the same lyrics--now I can't get THIS one o/o my head (suddenly senses an ELO song getting stuck, as well :D ) :x

A Summer Song
Chad and Jeremy

(everybody sing along, follow the bouncing looney :S )

Trees swayin' in the summer breeze
Showin' off their silver leaves
As we walked by

Soft kisses on a summer's day
Laughing all our cares away
Just you and I

Sweet sleepy warmth of summer nights
Gazing at the distant lights
In the starry sky

They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
But don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no

And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you

They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
But don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no

And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you
And dream of you

danloman, your brain is so susceptible!

wasn't this one was it danlo?
See, lying here all alone
on a rainy night like this.
Starvin' for some lovin'.
Oh-oh, what I would give,
what I would give for just one kiss.
Every rain drop I hear
against my window pane.

And it's beatin' through
so loud and clear.
Words, words that speak your name.

See I, I got no where to turn
now that you have gone,
and I feel like
breaking up somebody's home.

I know it's useless
hangin' on when you belong to someone else.
But I can't shake the feelin'.
Oh, after all, I didn't make this bed.
I got nowhere to turn
na, na, na, now, na, now, now that you have gone.

I saw the boy last night
and I believe I caught a chill.
Well, I could, I could not control the vibration,
and my heart, my heart,
my heart justa would not stand still.
I got nowhere to turn
a now, now, now, now that you have gone,
and I feel like
breaking up somebody's home.
Got nowhere, a nowhere to run
and I'm so damn tired of being all alone,
and I feel like
breaking up somebody's home.

I know it's useless
hangin' on when you, you, you, ya,
you belong to someone else.
But I, la, la, la, can't shake the feeling,
oh, after all, I didn't want it this way.
I swear I did not want it this way.
But I got nowhere, a no where to run,
and I'm so g-ddamned tired of being alone,
and I feel like breaking up somebody's home.
Got nowhere, a nowhere to run,
and I'm so g-ddamned tired of being alone,
and I, I feel like, feel like,
breaking up some mutha's home.
One more time.
I, I got nowhere to turn,
a nowhere to, nowhere to, nowhere to turn,
and I feel like, I feel like,
breaking, breaking up somebosy's home.
I gotta break up somebody's home.

Finally found it!!! Summer Rain by Johnny (Secret Agent Man) Rivers

Summer rain taps at my window
West wind soft as a sweet dream
My love warm as the sunshine
Sittin' here by me, she's here by me-ee-ee

She stepped out of the rainbow
Golden hair shinin' like moon glow
Warm lips soft as a soul
Sittin' here by me, she's here by me-ee-ee

All summer long we spent dancin' in the sand
And the jukebox kept on playin'
Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

We sailed into the sunset
Drifted home caught by a gulf stream
Never gave a thought for tomorrow
Just let tomorrow be, now, let tomorrow be-ee-ee

She wants to live in the Rockies
She says that's where we'll find peace
Settle down, raise up a fam'ly
To call our own, yeah, we’ll have a home

All summer long we spent groovin' in the sand
Everybody kept on playin'
Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

The snow drifts by my window
North wind blowin' like thunder
Our love's burnin' like fire
And she's here by me, yeah, she's here with me-ee-ee
Let tomorrow be-ee-ee-ee
