Oracle: Poor Vain. Without him we're lost.
Neo: What do you mean, "without him?"
Oracle: Are you sure you want to hear this? Vain believes in Avatar. And no one, not you, not even me can convince him otherwise. He believes it so blindly that he's going to sacrifice his computer to save Avatar's.
Neo: What?
Oracle: Avatar's going to have to make a choice. In the one hand he'll have Vain's computer and in the other hand he'll have his own. One of them is going to fry. Which one will be up to him.

*Sigh* Vain is safe. You see what responsibility does to you? It's a cruel, unnatural burden.

Thanks Vain, I was starting to believe yesterday our firewall got stronger, and stopped letting me through.

You guys get weirder by the year :) But many of you are like family in a strange way.

Av managed to remind me of my mortality today. He asked what happens to KW if I like die or something.

I'll donate KW to someone in my will I think :)

Yeah, I was out of town and thought the hotel I was staying at was blocking KW.

Away from home, no KW fix. I was a lost soul. :P

Thanks for saving us again, Vain. (I guess "nekrimah" still works when we need it to.)

Just imagine the confusion and terror felt by burglars when, in the middle of their crime spree, they suddenly hear a loud yell: Nekrimah, Vain!

It will be the last time they ever rob a house. Indeed, it will be the last thing they ever do.

And between such times, Vains make useful coat racks. Or, stood in the front window, they can keep small children off of your lawn.

Very cool. I'm really enjoying hangin' around the Watch lately. =)

So basically, without what Vain does, a whole community would mostly fall apart? Or at least lose it's ability to communicate? Wow.
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
