Dogs or cats?

Post by Spring »

Or, to prevent suspected favortism, cats or dogs? I'm a dog man, myself. Cats are up themselves. :nods:

Cats. I have three marvelous cats.

Dogs are ok, but more work than I am willing to put in.

I'm not overly fond of either, but don't particularly dislike them. I've always preferred cats, though.

Dogs, but ferrets are a close second.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Had dogs, cats, birds, gerbils, fish, hooded rats, and a turtle. (Only one at a time)

I prefer dogs.
Especially mid-size to large dogs.

Cats are delicious, but dogs make better pets.

I prefer cats. Dogs are too much work: take him for a walk, etc.

Cats take care of themselves, but they're always there if you need something to pet.

Cat, without a doubt. Dogs are always pining for attention, always need looking after; cats can look after themselves, for the most part.

Humans and pets, except for cats, live in a master/servant relationship. I think I like cats better because I don't want a slave, I want a companion.

cats.
they are cute, lovable and independant! I can leave the house for a weekend (never mind an hour) without wondering if he/she isn't going to destroy or poop all over the place.

Haven't had a cat for years now, though. Wife doesn't like them and step-daughter is allergic
