8O wow. I am with the others, jwaneeta. Fantastic stuff. I truly admire your watercolour stuff, a medium I have never been comfortable with.
Truly wonderful work.

Thanks so much, Usivius. I'm just finishing up a new thing for the Kevin's Watch Anthology II cover art competition. It's kinda more of the same, but I hope you like it. :)

I'm sure that by 'everyone', she of course meant you! :P

Given that everyone wants to be like me, I suppose you're right! ;)

jwaneeta your artwork is simply stunning! I'm gobsmaked by the Chronicles artwork! OMG! I particularly like the watercolour of Covenant with his hand raised. If you ever want to sell it (which I'm sure you don't) name a price!

Thank you very much, Seareach. It means a lot coming from you. :)

Not selling at this time. But there may be more on the horizon, if I can make the time...

Since my drawing and painting skills aren't on the same level as those displayed here, I was wondering if it was okay to post some pictures (of places/things) I have taken? Or is there another place for them? Just wondering. . .

 Okay. . . I'll upload more. It just feels as though I cheat, compared to what you do. I'm a mediocre artist as far as drawing is concerned, and a rank beginner in painting. I can throw pottery pretty well, and I am a dabbler in photograpy. The photography I do really seems like cheating. . . I find something I like, compose the shot, click. It's done.

My confession: I always wanted to be a *real* artist. . . the kind who draws, paints, the whole gamut. But I don't think I have the raw talent in me. . . something is lacking between my hands and my eyes, I think. :(

But more photos? I have hundreds of those. :)

Lovely.

ETA: If you want to be traditional media artist, all you have to do is get over your self-criticism. Children make the best art until they start thinking about dimensions.

Draw what you see, not what you *think* is there, and you'll have a massive leg up on 90% of the people on this earth.
