saw these guys live, they had Junior Brown open for them. (he was the one we were there to see.) knowing nothing about them were blown away. great band and Raul Malo has an amazing voice. we met Raul after the show by accident, very gracious man. julie got a pic with him.

much as i resisted i find myself really liking this band. i didn't like the apologize song...but i had to hear it every hour on the hour when i was working in the warehouse because the other warehousers insisted we had to listen to KOIT (ugh)...anyway...i really like this song

@hoppergrass83 I listened to them at 17 but never heard this song until I was 44. I understand why Cyril says he never listens to the flaming groovies . Magic Christian is a far better vehicle for his incredibly pure vision of rock and roll. God bless the ex-junkie cab driver with his New York Dolls, Velvet Underground and Stooges records and God bless my mother for allowing me to hang out with this dude even though we smoked ciggarettes and drank enough coffee to kill a small nation.
