Thanks Duchess :) Despiser : the idea was as a Kevins Watch design, hence the url .. but for a personal shirt.. hmn.. could replace the url with a saying or quote instead.. stone and sea perhaps.. melenkurion abatha... its a tuff call picking a tc quote!

KW T Shirt idea's

OK.. so i know we wouldnt be able to use this cos of copyright.. but what abt this for a KW design? A4 gives the scale and i imagine the picture logo as going on the left chest side of a shirt.. with some TC quote or passage on the back.. the text there [joy is in the ears] being an example of what ...

Tolkien v SRD .. next best thing to religion or politics as argument fodder. Prolly worse. Even the people who introduced me to SRD with fervent enthusiasm balked when i postulated that it might be a superior work. But whatever your tastes, and whatever the genre owes Tolkien collectively for gettin...

I think the way Nom reacted when he recognised Covenants power in the Sandhold showed there was more to them than simple savagery, and that that was much confirmed by how much it communicated once it inherited the gift of mental speech. That their savagery was borne out of their plight in the Doom m...

Like birdandbear said. That reunion and the grief/relief/joy it contains breaks me every time. Other moments i cant think of specifically are probably simple things said by Mhoram or FF to TC .. the innumerable kindnesses they paid him just by being who they were. Hmn.. actually another couple of th...
