It could be that the fresh Creator of the Land has been destroyed, is dead, has been imprisoned by the Despisor or has abandoned the Land. I also don't think Jeremiah is the fresh Creator.

Actually I couldn't stand Linden in the first 3 books of the 2nd chronicles, especially the last two. I really enjoyed her in Runes. I think the fire being that possesses Anele is Roger Covenant.

I think she's the Creator, you know the beggar that appeared to Covenant before in the other chronicles.
