As you already know, Loremaster, I'm up for joining. But don't rush too fast - I still have to think of what I want to play... :?

Exellent! As you know, I'm in, without a doubt . It's a great idea and setting for a game. As for my character - my preliminary thoughts are either an escapee of a Gulag; or a middling pro-Stalinist bureaucrat, trying to escape before he has to face prosecution from the new folks in charge. Looking ...

Your inventory will be: a baked potato, 30ft of fishing line, an Orange Party badge, and a coal-miner's shovel. :haha: In that case, I will place the baked potato above an old tunic of a murder victim, pinning the Orange Party badge to said tunic, and place the coal-miner's shovel beside it. I shal...

Though we're the only two here who'll get that joke, I think I'm gonna have to play that character

It's going to be all I can do to get enough online time to play Last Men In Hell (since a Last Men turn typically takes me about two hours, including the typing of the orders). And very glad to have you there, Dewin...err...Bernard :D Loremaster, as you know, I'm in for the new game. Mightily looki...

Joe woke up. The haze had been cleared from his mind. He knew what he had to do. Rushing to the roof of the prison he passed by the seemingly immobile zombies. Down below, in the streets, he saw a car moving along trailing an immense mass of beard. The beard had grown so that it rivalled even the ma...

Joe almost jumped himself when Jove fired the gun. For a moment, he expected to see the other guy - Black ? - hit the concrete. I always knew coppers were trigger happy. Still, nothing to do with me . . . "Who was that guy? He looked like a bum, or something". Speaking of hobos - Joe looke...

Well, if it wasn't enough that hordes of the living dead were trying to kill us, we've got a couple of maniacs taking potshots too . . . I should have just stayed adrift after I threw Frank overboard. At least then I might have been able to sit this whole crises out. Joe shook the last of the gore ...

Well, within reason. Obviously, if they are shot, then they can't say a piano falls on them, but they should have the chance to write their actual 'expiry', before someone commits them to that too far. For instance, some players get annoyed if others take liberties with their character's actions. I ...

Fair enough, I can understand mitigating circumstances . . . though I can also understand if Murin would be miffed and/or peeved.

It probably should be down to players to write their own deaths, in my view.

I have to pitch in and say, it did seem unfair and a bit pre-emptive to write the Capt Miles death, even if the rolls had been done, when the turn results weren't in.

Milkmen, insemination, porn . . . I see a consistent theme.

[btw, Jarek's Porno DVDs on Capt Miles has to be the funniest and most bizarre trap of all time]

"Quick as a jiff, and she's o-" The squad car pulled away, while Marlowe watched in slack-jawed shock. "Bloody 'ell! Mixed communications there". Marlowe shrugged his shoulders and looked over at Western. He seems a strange sort. Quiet. Looks like he might know a thing or two abo...

"Right. Well, better safe than lunch, I say". Joe looked at the engine. Poor shape. Weren't they supposed to service these pork taxis?!? "I'll fix 'er up, fast as I can. I saw a message scrawled on to a wall back in the army base. Said there'd be another survivor waiting in the hospit...

As the squad car slowed down and stopped, Joe heard the engine kick back with a death rattle. The solinoid squeeled with all the intensity of a mewling infant, and died. "It may be a tight squeeze but I think we can all fit." Jove looked down at the lawnmower. "What do you do with tha...

I'd vote for the simple variation on the theme, rather than having all the games interlinked. That way, you can do variations on the 'zombie' side of it - eg, a game on a tropical island could have cannibals instead of zombies; another game could have plague which sends people mad; parasites from ou...

The Bay breeze kissed Marlowe's face, wafting the smell of death and blood from his nostrils. To be back on a ship, with nothing but the blue of the sea melting into the horizon . . . But there were dead on most boats now - just like the one I took into Watch City. Last survivor. All other crew at t...
