I like it too. Found the UK edition of ROTE at first too oblique and vague, didn't depict anything but perhaps parts of trees, but now, with FR coming out they together look great. Not the usual Fantasy cover. And the typeface is the same they have used for some time now from the publishing of Reave...

I wrote in my dissection that this wasn't the meatiest of chapters. Reading all of the interesting post here I have to change my mind... Wayfriend wrote: Once again, the Demondim seem unaccountably impotent. This is sort of like Monty Python here. The Demondim keep charging towards them ... and never quite getting there. Runes, Part 2 Chapter 9-Pursuit
Linden brought the company and the pursuing Demondim into the caesure to avoid destroying The Arch Of Time by changing the history. Again the pain, the disorientation and the sensory insanity was the same. It’s like every moment in time in the caesure’s way attacks her and torments her. On the other...

Exactly, Relayer. I feel strongly that Esmer is maneuvering Linden somewhere, for reasons no one can know as yet. Esmer left her quite intentionally so that she could use the ring. And, because he brought the Demondim against her in the past, by his own designs, he knows she can't use wild magic to...

I have also bought a lot of my vinyls as CDs( I still keep the vinyls and play them since many of them does not exist on CD), and then bought the remastered version as well with extra tracks and so on... With David Bowies Young Americans for instance. I owned the UK edition of it on vinyl, then boug...

Start to think about it several cool guitarplayers come to mind; James Williamson for instance, played with Iggy And The Stooges on the ultracool and heavy Raw Power, the only album he made(almost), now there's some heavy riffing! A Les Paul Custom straight into a Marshall stack, nothing more...perf...

Well, ten pages of Guitar-Gods and not one post mentioning Keith Richards (or so I believe), so I'll put him up there with the rest of them, not the fastest or the most technically driven but has his own inimitable style besides beeing a composer of a hell of a lot of songs, an icon...and while I'm ...

Still following the series I'd say that this season is great so far, (we follow close behind here in Sweden), and Ecklie that was introduced in the previous season is one of the most annoying tv-characters ever, I just want to hit him when I see him, splitting the team and all that, and in the last ...

Jon Astley also did a fabulous remastering job with ABBA's albums. Yeah, I know you guys are getting out your barf bags now. Nevertheless, I love the polished production of ABBA's later albums, recorded in their own Polar Music Studios. I'd say Super Trouper is the finest one (produced by Be...
