How about Richard E. Grant for Holt? He's tall, thin, well 'preserved' but has that slight feel of being 'held together'... to me at least.

From what I can gather, there is Servent of the Land, Stonedowner, Woodhelvennin, Ramen, Elohim, Giantfriend, Haruchai.

That's as far as I can see - it looks like most are customised after a certain point.

Now you're referencing Ben 10 ;) My 5 year old son would argue that 4 arms is indeed just right... :)

I sooo want to see some used on that Amnion "defensive" coming after her -

But ~jay is in the US eastern time zone, so April Fool's can stretch from the 31st of March to April 2nd, all depending on where one is located.
Ok, now I'm scared :) - mental note to block out those dates (but I just know I'll fall for something.... ah well, wait and see)

Thank gods I'm in Australia and might just get away with it with the time zone difference...

Most users ever online was 191 on Wed Apr 02, 2008 1:42 pm Ok, not exactly a quote :P , just stats at the bottom, but was there any significant occasion to April 2, 2008? That's a lot of users online! (or point me to a thread which explains it) - obviously this is just for my interest, but hopefull...

 Yes, I'm moving right along!! I know - from what I have (carefully - avoiding spoilers) read of this forum, MoI and DG are readers' favourites. That's why it distressed me somewhat that my interest was waning. I think that a contributing factor is that I only read at night, in bed - and someti...

Perhaps the context of the story, which must spring from SRD's own interest in martial arts, takes that "honourable" requirement as given in this world of martial arts practitioners Yes - "Honourable" is the key, IMO. So what deprives the Killing Stroke of its efficacy is the re...

Definitely got to finish Gap. Start over from the beginning, and go through as fast as you can. It will be a hell of a ride. *snip* At the risk of sounding like a lunatic fanatic ;) I wholeheartedly agree with Malik - finish the Gap you fool!! But don't pick it up where you left off. Start again fr...

Thanks again Onos! It's exactly what I need to keep going. I didn't want to come into this fascinating forum and just bad-mouth a book, so hopefully it didn't come across this way. I just needed exactly what I said - a jolt. And your passion for the story has re-ignited my interest, so thanks! I'll ...

I can't help but feeling that one of the great tragedies of this world is that the Killing Stroke does, indeed exist. Not literally, of course, just as there's no such thing as a Vulcan Nerve Pinch. But the fact exists that an amoral person is completely capable of depriving another of their freedo...

I'm on page 378. I suppose about a third of the way through. I enjoy Quick Ben's character, and I'm a bit interested in the Crippled God. It feels significant. I was enjoying Whiskeyjack's character in previous books, but so far he hasn't featured much. And the T'lan Imass are fascinating. I suppose...
