"Silvered weapons are indeed the way to go. The beasts are also affected by all kinds of magical damage, their protection extends only to physical weapons not made of silver . Perhaps the reason you could not defeat the beast was due to its incredible strength. Weretigers are exceedingly hardy...

"Perhaps while we are in the capital, we should take advantage of the markets and craftsmen here, and prepare ourselves with the implements we will need that we can find here? Perhaps a golden sickle at a weaponsmiths and" Irian shyly suggests, "if we need the heart of the giant weret...

Feeling ever more useless in helping Xavier, Irian takes small encouragement from the good brother's word, and follows after. I didn't realize divine spells don't use components, she thinks to herself. Perhaps I can help in some small way then...

"As for you, young elf, there is nothing much of lycanthropy in the archives except what I have written myself, and I have already told you almost everything I know. If you seek to use the arcane arts to heal, then you will find nothing to help you in this archive, oiur healing abilities are gr...

The elven sorcerer steps forward, and curtsies in greeting to the learned healer. [Diplomacy, if necessary]" My thanks also for meeting with us, sir. I am called Irian. We are duly honored you agreed to do so, as we understand you granting audience is quite unusual. " Please excuse our hes...

The elven maid's eyes grew wide as she took in the number of volumes allayed around her. Surely knowledge to her need to learn more about lycanthropy was right within reach! Then the learned scholar approached them, and she eagerly awaited what he would share with them of his expertise. The clerk's ...

Irian's eyebrows shot up at the good cleric's attempt at a bribe. She would have asked if there were any learned assistants to him that they could speak with, in the event this archivist refused to see them. In her father's shop, you always began with underlings, and then once the urgency of the mat...

Overwhelmed by the sheer immenseness of it all, Irian clung even tighter to her body guard's forearm and trailed along wherever he went. Thinking of the bandit's crossbow and bolts she still carried, she glanced towards the market with yearning in her eyes. She desperately needed new clothes, and pe...

Eyes wide open as she just begins to take in the hustle and bustle of the capital, Irian grasps on to Vargon's forearm and mutely awaits the guards reply. The village her father's shop was in was nothing like this, and it was easily twice the size of Tethil. Oh, how she looked forward to perusing th...

...update...

I just heard from Charn's player in response to my text.
He is on vacation without internet access, but says he is heading home today.

He also says he can level up and post tomorrow.
But he understands if the DM wants to get underway.

I will admit surprise that our good DM has not heard from Charn, as I was told by him he would work on his level up over the New Year. But I too have not heard from him since then. I believe he is on vacation, although I do not know if he has internet access where he is at or not. I attempted textin...

Disliking the idea of weighing herself down further, Irian asks again, "Would anyone like any of these items? I would be more than happy to sell them once we find a market in Scragnoth, but if I take it all, I will be yet further slowed down until then. And if anyone can find any benefit from a...

Looking toward the rogue, Irian replies, "I trust you bound them well, yet I suspect the two others will return, possibly with others, to unbind them and partake of the food. I believe leaving them bound would give us more time, should they choose to pursue us and exact revenge. But, depending ...

Rummaging through her backpack, Irian withdraws a days worth of the bread rolls she had acquired before leaving Tethil. Holding them out in front of her, she asks the party, "Shall we wait for these two to come around? Or shall we continue on towards Scragnoth and leave them to their own device...

Eyes widening in surprise as the woman stabilizes on her own, Irian thinks to herself, Amazing. With luck the good brother is having a better effect on the other, but if not, perhaps he will stabilize on his own as well and we can decide what to do about them.

Her hands starting to tremble as the realization of what she's done sinks in to the elf, Irian goes to the unconscious cleric and removes her healers kit to start bandaging the cleric's wounds in an attempt to at least stabilize her. Once done, she moves over to assist Charn with the bandit, assumin...

A wave of disappointment floods through Irian. A grimace crosses her features as she envisions flying high above the fleeing bandits, high enough so nothing can strike him down, but low enough for sharp raptor eyes to follow their flight. In her mind, she hears a distant piercing keen of acknowledgm...
