A Question about Lord Foul's Abilities
I'm not sure if this really belongs in this part of the forum, but I figured any spoilers could go here if necessary. So Lord Foul, like the Creator, finds ways to enter the "real" world and corrupt and manipulate it. He (through Drool Rockworm) was able to summon Covenant to the Land in t...

Re: My God, I actually cried!
Just finished reading "the Andelain Hills" from "the Wounded Land." I am completely overwhelmed. I cried. I could easily have wept, had I let myself. I can't believe I read all this nearly thirty years ago, and the impact is so much stronger now. Perhaps, like Thomas Covenant, I...

Hile Troy in the "Real" World
In TIW Hile Troy claims to have been summonded from Covenant's world. Evidence of this we have is the death of Atiaran as a result of his summoning (she summonded him from somewhere right?), his speech which resembles the speech of any character from the "real" world (curses, knowledge of ...

At first, I could not believe anyone would think that the Bloodguard would not make a difference. However, as someone said before (i don't remember who, sorry), their mere presence gave the Lords and Revelstone confidence. So consider this, if the Bloodguard had been there, would Mhoram's distress a...

Hmm, I haven't thought about it before, but what Infelice's words translate to in layman terms is that this darkness they got is possibility or fear of change. Not evil. The Despiser is evil but they don't care about that. Being static beings change is automatically perceived as bad in their eyes. ...

Graveler? Ranyhyn? Eh-Brand? Whats the difference here?
I'm probably asking questions I should have asked months ago. And don't worry, I know what they are in the books. But on posts I see that people are Gravelers, or Eh-Brands, or Ranyhyn, or Eh-Brand and Ranyhyn. What's the difference?
