The colours are not significant, unless there is something within the text, for example, the fisherman's daughters hair is described as being long and black. I have now reached pg.103 of GOTM. Romped through the actual battle of Moon Spawn and its aftermath. Have now reached point where Whiskyjack (the Commander in the Prologue?) is about to commit himself to a course of action.
